VISAVUORI-MUSEO
There
are three buildings in Visavuori:

Studio of sculptor Emil Wikström (1864-1942)
- Built in 1903-1912 to Wikström's own design
- App. 100 of Wikström's sculptures are exhibited there
- Winter garden
- Organ loft
- Observatory
2.
House of sculptor Emil Wikström
- Built in 1902 to Wikström's own design
- Original furnishing
3.
Kari's Pavilion
- Built in 1990 to architect Erkki Helamaa's design
- Exhibits cartoons of Kari Suomalainen (1920-1999)
- Visiting exhibitions by other artists.

Visavuori
is situated on the shores of Lake Vanaja close to the Helsinki-Tampere-motorway.
Visavuori
can also be reached by the boat. During the summer months,
the ferry company Finnish Silverline sails from Hämeenlinna
and Tampere to Visavuori every day.
Tickets:
- Adults 6 €
- Students, Retired 5 €
- Children (aged 7-12) 1 €
- Children under 7 free
- Groups (minimum 16 persons) 5 €/person, driver and group
leader get in free
- Guide by request (fee 20 euros/group)
- Guidance by following languages: Finnish, Swedish, English,
(German, French - not available every year)
